My understanding is that when putting in an offset,
you put the center of the prop on the thrust line and change the thrust line
of the engine to match the offset. So you would get an offset of the
rear of the engine 0.75” to the left in this
case.
I am building a Lancair and have absolutely no idea
when discussing RVs. :>)

Hi, I'm making my engine mount and
I just want to be doubly sure I'm getting this right. The engine
offset as I understand is 0.75" to the right of centre as seen by the pilot
for the following setup.
Thought it would be best to
confirm now prior to welding.
