Hmmnn,
Interesting indeed. Well be careful and keep me informed (offline if necessary
as this isn’t really rotary related… yet). I assume that this parabolic
reflector would be for sunlight, meaning this would be located outside. If
successful, I doubt you could generate much pressure, but just in case you
should be aware that when water turns to steam it increases 1600 times in
volume, so if your vessel bursts under even moderate pressure (<~10psi) it
will flash off and immediately displace air so in an enclosed space would
leave you in an extremely hot O2 deficient atmosphere… not ideal for
sustaining life.
