I was considering a Suzuki Motorcycle generator for
my Aircraft application is has the internal windings held on the outer motor
casing, with the outer shell connected to the rotating mass. The outer motor
casing which holds the inner core also has the CKP pick-up while the rotating
shell has the timing wheel. Very neat and simple.
However is a CKP pick-up?
