Thanks Ernest, but we live in an unincorporated area on a 10 acre plot,
so I'm not worried about neighbors.  I will however check into the

Grant, one other thought that you probably know of already.  Most
localities have very strict rules on building boilers.  We're not so
accustomed to seeing them everywhere now, but in years past they have
killed a LOT of people when they blew up.  Don't go getting yourself
into any legal quandries.
