I use a
simple push/pull cable for my heat control. I found that the best &
cheapest control cable was in a manual choke conversion kit. IIRC it was only
~$15 and the cable is well suited for the task. There was nothing else in the
kit of any worth. The valve I found by looking through the stock in an auto
parts store until I found something suitable, so I have no idea what make/model
of vehicle it came from.

Subject: [FlyRotary] Heater
Control Valve
Any
thoughts on a simple cable actuated valve( 5/8" ) for the inbound hose to
a heater core? I have thought about not routing air through the heater
core when I don't want heat, then have the flapper route the air through it
when I do want heat. But, with the temps hitting 90F+ in N. Carolina I am
reminded that it might be best to not have any extra heat in the cabin in the
summer...
Thx...
