Spent about 3 hours with one of the top rated turbo outfits in the State this afternoon, and got a Garrett GT4088 Journal Bearing, 1.06 A/R, (GT40-SPCL-4088-NBB), along with a Tial 44mm V44 wastegate. Also an Edelbrok 75mm throttle body, and all of the Stainless, flanges, etc. Met with the Garrett rep that was in-house at the time, and he said that 15lb. of boost, with a boost controller would be all that I needed, and it would be loafing at that......(:-) This outfit has dynoed the 20B on about 8 installations, and they said that I would have a guaranteed 400-450 hp at take-off, and with the prop that Craig Cato is building for me, I think I've got a rocket ship here......++(:-) Damn thing is heavy, and with 3" stainless exhaust, I'll be moving some batteries I think. Rep says that the noise level in the cars they have set up is LOW, won't need a muffler. Think I'll run this up on the Rotary site too, getting excited, pictures are coming in the next week or so.
