damn winter showed up about 2 days after getting home from Shady Bend,
fortunately the local A&P took pity on me brought the 'star into his heated
hangar so I could finish up.  Passed final on thurs. (6th) and normally it
takes less than a week after that to get flight authorization.  Winter is
not going to be a big problem, my old RX7 starts in this weather so the
plane should as well and my cabin heat seems to be doing a fine job so far.
