Hi Guys, I'm a little late on this one, but I have a separate alternator
contactor controlled by the ignition switch. There is a dedicated 60amp
fuse between the contactor and battery. The alternator is a stock 70amp
unit. Also, we have the diode setup that protects over voltage on the field
wire.
