As shown on Pg 4 of the installation guide,  EM2  P2 pin 6 is the pin connected to EC2 pin 17.  EM2 P2  is a 15 pin connector so there is no P2 pin 24.  A typo in your email?

Tracy,

So I will need a wire from EM2 P2 pin 24 to EC2 pin 17 for the tach signal.

The EM2 senses rpm by monitoring the injection rep rate and fuel flow by checking the duty cycle on this same line (injector 1 drive line on pin 17 of EC2).   There is a lot of other data sent over to the EM2 but it is used for things like the auto tune function and editing the MAP table.

Tracey et al,

I'm in the final throws of wiring our latest 13b creation and I have
a question.

I know that manifold pressure is sent from the EC2 to the EM2 for
display but what other data is transferred from one to the other?  Tach
perhaps?
