Both the Cozy girls and Ed Klepis had rotary engine mounts in the engine tent at Sun&Fun. Both looked to be very well done. Ed does fantastic work on coolers and pulleys, and anything you can think of. He had a nice display.
The Cozy Girls version extends out under the reduction adaptor plate and is tightly bolted to it. A bit of over kill perhaps, but it looks good. They also had a mount for a 520 in an RV. A rotary ina na RV and a rotary in a cunard.
There was a Chevy L88 with reduction and a three bladed prop. Very smooth.
There was a single rotor engine OMC sized under power.
There was Suburu 4 cylinder with a Marcotte reduction under power.
Some kind of Gyro under power, but 2 cylinder (snowmobile?) engine was not identified.
I think I managed to convert a few people to rotary power while Tracy and wife were on the flight line answering questions.
