I have yet to hear from K&N about the max flow rate of the HP3001. However I talked to the Champion man at Sun&Fun today about flow rates, and their same sized element flows up to 60 GPM at 100 PSI in tests and in acual use flows 22 GPM for take off at 60 PSI.

Lynn;

What do these pressures mean?  The important number for flow is the drop across the filter; which we would like to be less than 10 psi.

Al

So for now I will say the single K&N instalation will be more than adequate for aircraft use up to 100 PSI.

If I get an answer, I will post it.
