after I wrote this I started thinking
about a conversation we had with Laura one night. she said that she see's
a bit of that swaggering air force test pilot in all of us, a statement easy to
dismiss when you look around and just see retired men with aching bodies and pot
bellies. I wasn't the only guy there flying through some crummy weather
trying to get home. maybe she is on to something. I know the term
"hairy-chested" has come up before.... of course I tend to think "nuts,
crazy, idiotic, suicidal...."! so here is an article I wrote for next
month's newsletter.
