Thanks, Rusty.....looking at the air bleeds, that's exactly what I have. It would appear that they will just come out of the hole just like the injector did.  Thanks again.  Paul, well, isn't that neat, Conner.

I removed the old fuel injectors, which I thought were oil injectors? They are located just above the center two intake ports on my 4-port 1989 13b turbo engine.  If you look inside the center two ports, you can see a small oval disc which is tilted at approximately 45 degrees, slanted down towards the interior of the engine.  Were these fuel injectors or oil injectors?  Also, should I take needle nose visegrip pliers or similar, and try to break away those two slanted discs that now would have no purpose, or just let sleeping dogs lie?

Hi Paul,

If they're mounted in the center iron housing, they're fuel injectors.  The slanted disks that you refer to are "air bleeds", and are plastic assemblies that can be removed without having to break off anything.   Attached is a picture of one of my injectors, with all the parts laid out in order of assembly.  You'll see the air bleed on the left.

Cheers,
Rusty
