Easy for me (or anyone else) to say but why not find another location for the EC2?  Even if you find a low profile connector, how will
you tighten the retaining screws on the connector?

There are no doubt many constraints in your installation that I don't know about but I always advise builders to install them in an easily accessed location.
Every time I come up with the latest wiz bang improvement to the EC2, I can hear the mental groans of builders who have to dig them out of
obscure corners of their aircraft for the update  :>)

This has caused so much angst that the next version of the EC2 (now in design) is going to have some kind of provision for updating the software in the field.
Haven't decided on the details of this yet.

Bob White, or anyone with advise,

I would like to find an adaptor of some kind to get a lower profile on my EC2. I had the 90 degree end installed, but it still takes up over 2" of space. In my case it will hit the fuel tank. I can modify the tank if necessary. But if it was as simple as plugging a low profile adaptor, that would be the thing to do.
