Greg, Ask your friend which processor and system they are using? I've been "out of the loop" for a while, but a lot of system engineers went with MatLab modeling for engine control. Autocode generation, which is a pretty neat tool. I did a lot with MPC555 (there are a ton of derivatives). Just wondering if MPC555 (floating point processor was a big plus with the model based systems). Tom
