I would suggest you pull all the breakers
or fuses. Energize the master and then power up one circuit at a time and test
each one as you go for function. After avionics test leave it off until you
have confidence in the total system to protect it from spikes. Last of course
the starting and charging system, verify proper charging voltage before turning
any other system on.
