I have had many rotary experts tell me the most rediculous facts about the engine. It is a lot of fun. If I can get to a body first with an example engine to turn over slowly, any piston powered gear head can be converted to rotary in a few minutes.
The tough part is the two TDCs and the two BDCs. Once I get that across, I have them.
