I have installed a master contactor next to battery
like Piper and Cessna used for years, in case of fire, one needs a way to quick
disconnect the power quickly, IMHO. An engine failure is serious business,
but add a fire and things are critical. JohnD

breakers
Bob,
That's what I did... Flight Critical bus is always hot, although I did
add a 60 amp fuse back near the battery.

Ed,
Do
you run a master switch, or are the Circuit breakers the switch. I have
a master switch, but its bothering me that if that ONE switch fails, it all
fails. I I think I'll skip the master switch for flight critical.
