How do you have those pumps mounted in your tanks? Similar to the way
they are bolted into the top of the tank in the car? I'm wondering. Any
pics or diagrams? I am designing my tanks right now and have two hi
volume 20B in tank pumps to mount.

Marc,
I have two stock Mazda pumps mounted in a single sump tank. Originally it was mounted on the firewall, I was concerned about fire so it is welded up out of 1/16" steel. Sounds like you might be putting the pumps in your main tanks?
Now it is mounted on the forward side of the firewall (pusher). The 2nd gen pumps are mounted on a pedestal that goes up to a mounting cover plate on the top of the RX-7 gas tank. I shortened this pedestal but still use the whole assembly because of the
mounting and electrical connections. The two pumps bolt into holes in the top of the tank and are sealed with flox. It might be a bugger to grind that flox off if I have to remove a pump, but so far the pumps are proving to be a very low maintenance item. The flox is also a non-maintenance item when it comes to leaks. The tank is the bare minimum size it could possibly be and still contain the two pumps, holds about a gallon of gas.
