I've seen those T-clamps before on other things besides hose clamps( other larger ring clamps) and IMHO they would be my preferred choice to everything else suggested for rad and oil hoses.
Given this hose company supplied the silicone hose, it's obvious that they prefer these clamps, as they supply them as well.
They are so good in fact that they may have a draw back in that they could be possibly over tightened by someone who was prone to be heavy handed.
