Not a trivial = decision to make for certain. Having Ben leading the way can help you = with your installation - the good, the bad and the don't do it this way. Yes, the possibility of the 16X has us all excited - I just hope its = within the next 2-3 years, but bring something like a new engine from = prototype to production can take a lot longer than we would like. But, = one can always hope. In any case, the neat thing is it looks like = anyone flying with a 13B may be able to swap out for the 16x. While it = is larger in dimensions, with aluminum side housings I would not expect = it to weight as much and even if it did with 20% more displacement and = power it would be well worth it. I have never owned an RX-7 but I was impressed by what I saw in the = racing world with the rotary and finally decided that it was clearly the = best engine option for my airframe (Rv-6A) and remain convinced after 10 = years of flying it that it was the best decision.
