Subject: [FlyRotary] Diffusers

What is the conventional wisdom regarding the use of difusers (injector.)

Joe

Joe;

I put the diffusers in on the primary injectors.  On the secondary that are out in my TWM throttle body I think it not an issue.  They are roughly a foot from the port, and upstream of the butterfly, so there is plenty of distance and turbulence for the fuel to vaporize.  In the primary port it is not likely going to make a noticable difference in warm weather when the engine is warmed up; but certainly when cold, the diffusers will deflect the spray, and add turbulence in the air stream to better diffuse and vaporize the fuel. Better that than having is on the surfaces of the port and rotor face.

Anyway; that’s my take.
