My opinion = is that due to the short distance between the primary injectors (in the = block) and the intake ports that they provide better atomization of the = fuel. On the other hand, I have flow without them and could not = detect any significant difference one way or the other in either power = produced or economy - but, not exactly a laboratory test setting.
