They seem to work properly as when I push the up button the pages toggle up, I press down and the direction reverses etc. I hit button 3, abort, and the screen does go to the main screen, but only for about one second before returning to the calibration screen. I redid all the wire and terminations on all the wires to buttons and the wires to P3. You know what an added pain this is with the long runs on a larger canard. I don't know if it is relavant, but the behavior is the same whether I have P2 plugged in or not (I have also made sure the unused connections listed in the manual needing to be grounded are, as well as checking my other grounds). I have not instaled P1 yet. However, the EM2 was working originally, after a shut down of the engine is when I noticed the problem, no changes had been made. I originally had my up/down on one ground wire to a common ground block and about/ack to another wire on the same ground block...now they all share a common ground wire as I believe the manual states, however, the behavior remained the same regardless. As of today, all the termination have been redone as they go from the ECU to the EM2 and all checked for solid connection. Even though I thought I was thourough before, I am sure I was more so now. To my cridit (maybe), the engine did start right up following my efforts. I have reviewed and re-reviewed the set up to determine if I am missing something....well, what I am missing is whatever it is I am missing. arggh. Thanks again. Onward through the fog. All the best, Chris
