Ed NOT Lynn
I love that science talk.

If you build 7 league boots why would you run them at 4.5 leagues. The Average BSFC for a whole dyno run
is .670. Best power will be the devils own .666 or about 12.3 A/F and EGTs in the very low 1500s. This at 25 degrees of advance. Once at cruise, you can lean further than a piston engine, (past peak EGT) and further yet with a CD ignition system.

My friends new 550 needs 24 GPH for take off and cruise at lean of peak is 11.7 GPH at close to 200 MPH.

Good info Lynn,
What is your friends power plant?
24x6/.55= 261HP
11.7x6/.45= 156hp.
