Dave, but, you can get that type of reaction. I usually refer to

project as "an - off -road vehicle" which seems to satisfy folks like
that. But, once you say "aircraft", some (but, not all) get

I saw a picture of an alternator bolted the end of a VW engine with
part of it bolted to the flywheel. Anyone seen that one?
