If you build 7 league boots why would you run them at 4.5 leagues. The
Average BSFC for a whole dyno run
is .670. Best power will be the devils own .666 or about 12.3 A/F and EGTs
in the very low 1500s. This at 25 degrees of advance. Once at cruise, you can
lean further than a piston engine, (past peak EGT) and further yet with a CD
ignition system.
My friends new 550 needs 24 GPH for take off and cruise at lean of peak is
11.7 GPH at close to 200 MPH.
