I done that Joe. It was so loud, that people from a mile away called to complain. Also I proved that the sound travels faster than light: People at the airport used to hear me long before I appeared on the screen.
The noise in the cabin was so bad, it was activating my headset mike continously.
No big performance gain to justify the trouble.
