Indeed shows that whichever way you have of turning off the engine, I think it should be what you normally do - so in a time compressed emergency, you don't have to think about it - and it should be something quick and simple. At that time you had the EC2 before the Snubbers (BS) which means it had the sneak circuit - which means turning off the EC2 would not turn off the injectors - but, with the EC2 WS (with Snubbers) turning off the power to it will now do the job.
