Great news Mark! Yes, it is a magic moment when the engine comes to
life, the gauges start dancing and the thing actually moves under its own
power.
Can't wait for my RV-8 to join the growing 'mobile 20B' group. Still
waiting on my Blue Mountain EFIS1 to arrive before it can happen. I
upgraded it to the new G4 version. Hope it's worth the panel change
trauma.
Besides replacing the alternator in Trixie (the SUV, Aarrghhh! ),
attending brother Barry's divorce trial (finally over yesterday, Yahoooo!),
dealing with disappearing CNC suppliers (many long stories) and struggling to
keep the production line going, I have no excuse for not finishing the
RV-8. It won't make it to Sun 'n Fun this year as I had hoped. I
finally learned not to make $500 bets on completion dates with Laura
though.
