No flight today. There was a 5 Kt crosswind when I got to
the airport. No big deal, except I'm a low time taildragger pilot and if
something else was going wrong I didn't want to deal with the extra load.
The FBO on field said winds were predicted to get to 25 Kt gusts later although
it never got that bad.

Bob. It everything isn't right for YOU, then wait until it is.
No reason to hurry now. Also, I would strongly recommend not announcing
the flight, or inviting too many people. It just adds to the pressure,
which you don't need. When it's right, it will happen, and you can tell us
all about it.
