If you put your
trust in plastic, I am in the process of building a plastic manifold part that
"plugs" Paul's manifold. That will have four short tubes that plug into
the aluminum manifold to provide support and merge into two outlets.
Unfortunately, they are no longer the right spacing to stick the TWM throttle
body on the two 2" diam holes. Sorry, just wasn't a design requirement at
the time.
Geez, your gonna to have to start checking with me before you make
these things

I'm really hoping that the Mazdatrix IDA intake Paul's
waiting for will clear the turbo, but I may have to just order one to find
out. They said I could send it back if it didn't clear. The only
problem is that I've given Paul so much crap for ordering a bunch of manifolds,
and now I'd be doing it too :-)
