If you arent using a turbo, and have the turbo oil return on the
front.. you could pipe the return up to there and bolt onto it.. but thats
a long run, and would have to avoid the heat of the exhaust.
This method worked fine
in the RV-3, but I'd be worried about doing it with a canard. In an
extended climb, the oil will be trying to drain uphill.
On one iteration of the
RV-3, I ran the drain back to a fitting installed in the oil pan drain bolt
hole. That worked fine as well, but is far from
ideal.
