Subject: [FlyRotary] My Project is now an Airplane!
The DAR came to day and gave me that magic little pink paper that says
my project has a "Special Airworthiness Certificate" so it is officially
an airplane. First flight will still be a while as there is one
component that needs upgrading - the pilot (me) needs a tailwheel
endorsement. I had an instructor lined up, but he lost the use of the
plane he was going to use to instruct me. I now have another
instructor and will work on the taildragger skills until my wife
insists on leaving for a visit to ND.
