Message-Id: <20061001135405.d4136ba0.rlwhite@comcast.net> X-Mailer: Sylpheed version 2.2.7 (GTK+ 2.8.10; i686-pc-linux-gnu) Mime-Version: 1.0 Content-Type: text/plain; charset=US-ASCII Content-Transfer-Encoding: 7bit The DAR came to day and gave me that magic little pink paper that says my project has a "Special Airworthiness Certificate" so it is officially an airplane. First flight will still be a while as there is one component that needs upgrading - the pilot (me) needs a tailwheel endorsement. I had an instructor lined up, but he lost the use of the plane he was going to use to instruct me. I now have another instructor and will work on the taildragger skills until my wife insists on leaving for a visit to ND.
