I have pretty much decided to give it a try.  After playing with it some I found a good way to clamp it to the exhaust and muffler.  It was obviously do a good job isolating the engine, and will be easy and cheap enough to change out every annual if need be. 
 
Is yours showing any significant signs of wear after 55 hrs?.  How close to the engine do you start running it?  What kind of EGT's are you seeing?  My EGT's climb with power output, I try not to run it any hotter than 1600F.

I believe that is the pipe I used, will check toward the end of the week when I get home. It has held up fine for me over 55 hours with NA 13B and Tracy is the one who put me on to it.
