Joe has an operational aircraft, I do not as of yet (this fall RV6A Rotary) my setup is similar to Joe's, but I will use some of the extra inputs to look at; coolant hot out of eng., coolant coolest into eng., oil hot in pan, oil coolest after cooler, air temp behind both rads & behind oil cooler. Note on cyl. head temps; because of recessed plugs into housings, am using bolts directly above plugs to mount plug gasket therms. Look carefully at the list of inputs and you can sort out what you want to use, you have more avail. than any other eng. mon. on the market (at least in this price range). There are other folks with MUCH more exper.than I, stay tuned. Hope this helps some, David.
