I suspect this is because of the DAR's unfamiliarity with the Rotary engine. What I urgently need is an exhaustive list of currently flying aircraft with Rotary engines to overwhelm them with evidence of the fact that these are not a fluke but a real alternative to conventional aircraft engines. Dale Rogers has started a list of aircraft that are flying but it is by no means complete.
