The Geo Metro and = Isuzu Sidekick alternator is a little lighter, but I didn't have a = scale. It does fit the bracket on the engine, but the bolt is much = smaller diameter (close to 1/4 inch). It is also only 55 AMPs. =20 I opted for the stock Mazda alternator. It weighs slightly more, but = puts out 70 AMPs, and the bolt is the right size. Hope this helps save someone else some time.
