It is to hot to work on the plane and not having anything worth while to do
I though I would look at Sport Aviation In a different way. Taking my
trusty wooden Westcott Ruler I measured the pages of the magazine. The
pages measured 7.8 in wide and 10.5 in. high. with the magazine being 155
pages this month (not counting the front page) I proceeded to measure the
size of the adds in the magazine. According to my calculations there are a
total of 9430.2 sq. in of usable space. With 4470 sq.in in. (roughly 47%)
of the area used for articles and pictures and 4960.2 sq. in (53%) in
advertisements. This figure takes in the advertisements that the EAA put in
the magazine to promote there interest. Now to look and see if there is
anything of interest to read.
