Hi Buly,

The cross bar of the 'T' is the 'R' lead, and the vertical leg of the
'T' is the 'L' lead. The color code on the Mazda wiring harness is
Black with white stripe (B/W) for the R lead and white with black
stripe (W/B) for the T lead.  I connected the L lead to the bus thru a
12 volt lamp and the R lead to the bus thru the alternator switch that
was already on the panel.  The indicator light works, but the
alternator charges as soon as the engine starts whether I close the
alternator switch or not.  I believe the R terminal is internally
excited when the switch is open.  I haven't checked to see whether or
not closing the switch causes the voltage to increase slightly.
