Subject: [FlyRotary] water pump = bolts -=20 warning

Rotarians,
After a run-up yesterday I noticed a very slow drip = of=20 coolant - about 1
drip every 10 seconds. I traced it to the water = pump=20 gasket. I looked
more carefully and saw that the three short bolts = were=20 missing. Gone. No
sign of them in the lower cowl either. I swear I = put=20 them in with
lock-tight.
I mention this to Buly during phone=20 conversation. He had found his water
pump bolts loose recently=20 too.
Something to watch out for.....
John

John,
Which lock-tight did you use? Don't some = weaken with=20 temperature. Looks like a high temp lock-tight is necessary in this=20 location?  I recall different loosening torque values for = different=20 # lock-tights, is there a temperature rating on the various = lock-tights?=20
