Hi Joe,
According to the information I got some time back, the "IN" on this
photo is the out and vice versa. Also, running it backwards shouldn't
cause low oil pressure. The thermostat may not operate quite right, but
either the oil goes thru the open thermostat, or it goes thru the
cooling fins. I have mine hooked up backwards as a mater of
convenience.
