As for buying new, don't forget These evaporators
were
designed to withstand a maximum of about 300psi and
you are going to
be operating at maybe 24psi. So if
the units you find were not physically
damaged they
should be much more than adequate for your purpose.
Unless
you just want to spend the extra
money?

Thanks, but I
would go with new, even if the used cores were free. For
something this cheap, I like the peace of mind offered by new parts. As
for spending extra money, I'll be throwing away more than $3000 worth of stuff
if I make this change :-(
