Rusty Look up an auto air conditioning service business and go talk to
them. A small leak makes the cores useless at the pressures the A/C works at but
won't even be noticed by coolant. Bet you can get them for $5 or
less.

Hey, that's a
good idea. I should at least be able to get a few scrap cores to
practice welding fittings on. At the moment, I have everything to do
the job, except for the skill :-)
