Hi Charlie,
I was hurrying to beat the weather to Charlotte, as a front was forecast to be over the area on Friday, so decided to press on.
Charlie is correct, dropped an hour from Mississippi to Texas crossing time zone and forgot to adjust. I knew it sure felt like longer than 2.5 hours. {:>).
See you in April, Charlie. Say Hello to Tupper for me.
Ed
Hi Ed,
Good to hear that you made it home ok. David actually heard your call but his hangar radio doesn't have a functional mic to talk back. You could have stopped to top off, anyway. We finally got a load of avgas at ~$1/gal less than the last batch. I didn't get home until around 2:00.
Guys, Ed didn't burn 29 gal of gas in 2.5 hrs. It took us a looong 3.5 to get to Granbury. Longest I've ever sat in an RV, & I don't care to repeat the experience. Ed & Tracy are mpg nuts; I just want to get there quick & play before & after. :-)
Hope to meet more of you guys at SNF in April.
Charlie
