I've seen and handled the BMW coupling, I found it quite heavy and overly bulky. Where as the Lord Dynaflex Model LCR -400-800-115A are similar in construction, less bulky and weigh less and cost about $40 ea Aust or about $30 US ( cheap).

I am trying the picture again. The previous one was too large.

The size used on formula ford race cars is fairly small, and is used to absorb the shock loads of clutchless shifting and a CV joint in one piece.
