Yes, but I've
been embarrassed to let it out. It is not good to look too foolish in
front of the children...:-)
After a day and a
half of swapping injectors and tracing and testing wires to the EC2, I found two
problems.
The first was
miss-labeling the injector cutout switches. (the primary was
labeled secondary, etc.) This lead me to think that, as the engine ran
smoothly on the with the Primary switch closed, there was a problem
with the primary injectors.. Oh, me! This discovery lead me to
finally inspect the secondary injectors where I discovered a broken clip wire at
the number 2 rotor, secondary injector. Duh? My inj. clips were
rescued from junk harnesses and the wire seems to be brittle (?) Thats why
I'd like to find a source for the clips alone on the stock '89, six port
injectors.
Repaired the wire
and the engine runs fine. I will next be with the plane around the 23rd of
Sept to continue the cooling saga.
Thanks for the
concern sunny boy..:-)

You ain't seen nothing yet, young
fella! Tommy<><
I knew I could draw
out the really old guys :-)
I've been curious to
know if you made any headway with your latest injector
problems?
