Buly, Something Clark Lydick (Performance props) said to me while discussing fine tuning of my fixed pitch prop may be of interest.... My total blade area is 305 sq inches, pitch is 84. Standard blade area for a 200 HP Cozy is around 230 sq inches. He felt that a reduction of around 40 or 50 in blade area without changing prop length or pitch would give me an extra 200 static engine rpm while hardly impacting max cruise. I think this prop was less pitch & blade area than your to begin with. I should have it back in a week or two. It would be very interesting to try it on your plane and see what rpm you get.
