I drilled a mounting hole in the stiffener web of the RD-1 and I can't remember if the IVO brush block already had an appropriate hole in it or if I had to drill one or just enlarge an existing hole. Both ends of the rod are double nutted to allow for fine position adjustment. After 50 hours of flying I had to change my brushes and the mount hadn't moved the brush position at all.=20 It works well, durable, cheap, light and & easy. Always a winning combination Todd (biting my tongue to keep from adding a comment about women... Ooops, slipped) -----Original Message----- From: Rotary motors in aircraft [mailto:flyrotary@lancaironline.net] On Behalf Of John Slade Sent: Monday, September 12, 2005 11:17 AM To: Rotary motors in aircraft Subject: [FlyRotary] Re: IVO Brush Holder > I can't make it out to the airport untill at least the weekend, but > if you arn't in any hurry to do this, then I will go out and get some=20 > pics if you'de like?
